Finance Manager

Talascend is currently seeking a Finance Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Bellevue, Washington.

Overview

The role involves supervising and directing analyses of financial information affecting investment programs for public or private institutions. The manager will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, investment activities, and strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation of financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and earnings forecasts.
• Prepare special reports required by regulatory authorities.
• Manage the organization's budgets to meet financial goals.
• Oversee investment activities, manage associated risks, and supervise cash management.
• Implement capital-raising strategies to support expansion.
• Oversee issuance of credit, establish credit-rating criteria, and monitor collections of past-due accounts.
• Support strategic projects by analyzing sales trends, market intelligence, and business performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to senior management.
• Lead cross-divisional strategy meetings and facilitate collaborations.
• Manage relationships with third-party providers to enhance business intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required.
• 2-4 years of experience in finance or related fields.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software.
• Demonstrated ability to perform duties through relevant experience, training, or education.
