Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Open Search Finance

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of the AWS Finance team. This role will own end-to-end finance support including P&L management and planning for AWS Open Search Service, and will drive strategic new Intelligent Operations feature launches and process improvements across the organization. The successful candidate will effectively communicate, manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, manage risks and opportunities, and possess strong business partnership skills to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

• 3+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• MBA or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is $82,700.00 – $ USD annually (Seattle, WA). Your Amazon package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
