Join Amazon’s Global Fleet & Product Finance (GFP) team as a Finance Manager for Worldwide Fleet Infrastructure Finance. In this high‑visibility, high‑impact role you will shape investment strategy across a large‑scale global fleet infrastructure portfolio, guiding the financial frameworks that evaluate, fund, and scale the physical and operational assets powering last‑mile delivery worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Own financial planning and investment evaluation frameworks for fleet infrastructure, including accruals, variance analysis, and monthly close processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify risks, evaluate financial impacts, and influence decisions that improve outcomes and reduce costs.
- Integrate diverse data sources to identify quality issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Improve, automate, and standardize finance processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Communicate complex financial topics clearly to varied audiences, leading projects that streamline reporting and planning.
You will sit at the center of consequential infrastructure investment decisions, translating complex financial data into clear strategic direction for senior leaders, enabling confident capital commitments and prioritization.
Typical Daily Activities- Advise senior leaders on infrastructure investment trade‑offs, applying rigorous financial analysis to shape long‑term delivery capabilities.
- Develop and stress‑test investment frameworks that evaluate cost structures, risk profiles, and return potential across a large, complex asset base.
- Drive monthly close and variance analysis, turning results into forward‑looking insights to inform planning and resource allocation.
- Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Data Science, and Sustainability to embed financial strategy in operational and technical decision‑making.
- Build scalable, automated reporting infrastructure that provides real‑time visibility into a global fleet asset base.
- Prepare executive‑level materials that distill complexity into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
- Basic
- 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- Preferred
- 6+ years of experience identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, determining root causes, and creating or implementing escalation plans.
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate, timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have measurable impact (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, customer benefits).
- MBA or CPA.
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
- Experience with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and interpreting results.
The base salary range for this position is $95,400 to $163,200 annually. Your package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
