JobFunctions / Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and project management of the Company’s SEC filings including 8‑Ks, 10‑Qs,10‑Ks, annual reports and employee benefit plan financial statements
- Perform peer analysis research
- Supervise the quarterly and annual reporting team assistants
- Coordinate with external auditors during the quarterly review process and annual audit
- Responsible for lessee accounting software maintenance
- Coordinate and provide training as required to PACCAR locations on external reporting requirements or accounting policies
- Participate in documentation and performance of internal controls for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
- Assist in technical GAAP / SEC research and preparation of position papers
- Assist with the adoption of new accounting pronouncements and develop/update related policy and procedures
- Assist with future system upgrades and implementations as assigned
- Various projects and special analysis as assigned
- This role requires on‑site presence five days per week, with no remote or hybrid option
- Strong technical and analytical accounting skills with intermediate to advanced computer skills in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, macros, charts and graphs) and data analytic tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and self‑motivated, handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a team environment
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to influence and work with employees at all levels of the organization. Position requires frequent coordination and negotiation with numerous groups from within and outside the company ranging from staff to vice president levels
- Ability to work extended hours in office during the financial reporting quarterly and year‑end process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA Certification or pursuit of CPA certificate
- Minimum 5+ years overall work experience and 3+ years relevant accounting work experience
- Strong working knowledge of SEC rules and regulations
- Public accounting and industry experience with multinational publicly traded company preferred
- Active Disclosure or other financial reporting tool experience preferred
- SAP or other top tier consolidation software experience/knowledge preferred

CompensationThe salary range for Senior Financial Analyst - External Reporting is $90,400 - $141,800 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
