The Role

An exciting opportunity has risen for a Bookkeeper/Finance Officer to join the Award Signs team on a permanent basis.

This role would suit candidates with a passion for detail and a hands‑on attitude to getting the job done. You would be joining a team culture built on trust, respect and a desire for excellence in customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Complete all relevant data entry using the company’s financial system (including Xero and MYOB)
  • Process all Timesheets for payroll
  • Prepare Weekly Payroll including Superannuation and PAYG payments for approval and payment
  • Undertake all accounts payable/receivable duties
  • Produce all required financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements as requested
  • Complete monthly Bank Reconciliation and prepare BAS/Payroll Tax returns
  • Provide support for HR and facilities administration and other administrative support
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar role with experience using Xero and MYOB
  • Strong administration skills – organised, thorough, systems orientated with meticulous attention to detail
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent levels of computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Ability to work without Management direction, use initiative and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork is critical
  • Tertiary qualifications in bookkeeping or accounts
  • Previous experience using Gojee would be highly regarded (not essential)
