• Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services.
• Works with bankers, meets with customers, and introduces new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
• Collaborates with the team to create an outstanding customer experience using marketing and outreach efforts such as direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, , electronic newsletters, and outbound lead sourcing.
• Develops a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations in footprint territories and works within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
• Builds a role as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintains good relationships with customers.
• Exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and understanding of the customer's financial needs and goals.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
• 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
• Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines

• FHA/VA sales experience
• Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
• Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment

National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 is required upon active employment.
