Medical Assistant (New Graduates Accepted!)

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Medical Assistants who excel in customer service and multitasking. As an integral part of the care team, you will ensure patient flow and provide quality patient care in a safe and timely manner. You will be working in a clinic that implements COVID prevention practices, including testing, contact tracing, and exposure questionnaires.

• Follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients
• Conduct pre-visit planning
• Manage all elements of the rooming process, including screening questionnaires
• Coordinate care with other members of the care team
• Ensure all patient clinical quality measures are addressed
• Complete all provider referrals for each patient
• Assist the medical provider with charting office visits, ensuring communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination

• Current/Active Certified or Interim WA State Medical Assistant License (MA-R accepted)
• 0-1+ years of experience (new graduates welcome)
• Excellent customer service skills

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, preferably EPIC
• Phlebotomy experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a major plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

You will be working in a community health clinic setting, providing care primarily for Medicaid and uninsured patients. The environment emphasizes serving diverse communities, with a special focus on the Latino population in Washington State. The work setting includes a team approach, with 2 Medical Assistants assigned to one provider.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellevue, WA.

The pay range for this position is $24.09 - $28.00/hr.
