Position Overview
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in Bellevue, WA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting healthcare providers by preparing patients for examinations, collecting patient information, maintaining medical records, and assisting with medical procedures. Additional responsibilities include managing medical office tasks such as scheduling appointments, organizing patient charts, and ensuring the clinical area remains clean and well‑stocked.
They will also act as a key point of communication between patients and medical staff to facilitate efficient patient care.
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and a solid understanding of Medical Terminology
- Experience with Patient Care and maintaining Medical Records
- Familiarity with Medical Office procedures and an ability to support clinical staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and team members
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification or similar is preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
