Overview
Contract Licensed Psychologist - ABA Centers
Remote (Must reside in Washington State)
• 1099 contract • $150/hour
The Psychologist works under the Director of the Diagnostic Services Department and is responsible for completing psychological and neuropsychological testing, reviewing and signing reports, and conducting supervision and training of all Psychometrists in the region/state. Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological, and/or psycho educational evaluations of clients with referral concerns related to learning, behavioral, emotional, and/or social difficulties.
- Provide written and oral feedback to clients regarding results of evaluations, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations for remediation, including referrals.
- Conduct in-person and/or virtual comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological, and/or psycho educational evaluations.
- Provide feedback sessions with the patient or their legal guardian (in the case of a minor) following evaluations.
- Compile written reports detailing evaluation findings, diagnoses, and recommendations to be kept in the patient’s medical record and shared with the patient and referral source in accordance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Plans.
- Ensure that written documentation is completed and uploaded in a timely manner per departmental policy.
- Provide direct supervision (individual/group) and training of Neuropsychological Testing/Assessment to Diagnostic Specialists (Psychometrists/Technicians).
- Actively seek supervision when needed and remain current in the field, pursuing continuing education related to pediatric neuropsychological testing.
- Participate in weekly Regional Clinical Training Meetings and present at the Weekly Psychology Assessment Didactic Seminars (PADS).
- Maintain an active license and good standing with the state board of psychology.
- Comply with ABA Center’s HIPAA privacy and security policies.
- Collaborate with team members to support the mission and attend routine departmental and staff meetings.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) with specific training in assessment of pediatric and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders, including learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability.
- Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record (required).
- Experience administering neuropsychological tests, including measures of Intellectual Functioning, Development, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (e.g., ADOS-2).
- English proficiency required
- Spanish proficiency is a plus
- Pay: $150 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Independent contractor (1099) role
- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, licensure, and professional liability coverage
