Medical Center Position
Responsible for identifying and recovering hospital underpayments from insurance payors, ensuring accurate reimbursement in alignment with contract terms. Actively participates in payer meetings and calls to address payment discrepancies, drive resolution, and promote ongoing compliance with facility reimbursement requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with ability to disseminate information to a variety of users. Prefer advanced knowledge of insurance contracts, managed care and government reimbursement terms, and billing regulations. Prior experience with financial systems or contract management system preferred.
Full-time / 40 hours per week
Monday
-Friday / 8am to 5pm
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or Bachelors preferred
- Minimum of two years related healthcare or insurance company experience required.
- Knowledge of MS Office Applications, especially MS Excel© and MS Word© required.
