Role Overview
Provide emergency and routine mental health psychotherapy services, including assessment, treatment, and clinical consultation within and outside the clinic. May participate in training and supervising interns.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess clients in crisis, determine appropriate intervention, and coordinate care. Conduct psychosocial assessments, Mental Status Exams, and formulate DSM diagnoses. Develop measurable treatment goals, document contacts per standards, and select suitable therapeutic interventions. Manage caseload to meet departmental standards and maintain quality care. Collaborate effectively with staff, demonstrate professionalism, and utilize clinical systems efficiently.
QualificationsMinimum two years of recent psychotherapy experience or equivalent, with a Master’s in behavioral science. Licenses required include LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington. Must demonstrate proficiency in treatment models for specialized populations and assess high-risk situations. Experience in managed care settings is preferred.
