As a Surgical Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative support to our operational and clinical teams, focusing on scheduling and maximizing patient surgical procedures. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service while managing surgical scheduling.
- Input and manage patient data within various systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and optimize the surgical schedule.
- Maintain accurate daily transaction logs, consults, and surgical tracker data.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Coordinate patient after-care services as needed.
- Participate in training and support center staff meetings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in surgery scheduling within a medical setting is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strongly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling software.
- Someone who pays attention to detail while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Adaptable and dependable, with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while also being able to drive and manage their tasks within the role independently.
