Position: DME Specialist - Overlake Sleep Center (Full-time/Days)

DME Specialist

We are seeking someone with an exceptional customer service background and attention to detail to join our fast-paced DME Department as a DME Specialist. This position works closely with patients, providers, and other Sleep Clinic staff.

This is a full-time, on-site position, with the opportunity to work a hybrid remote schedule after completing the training period.

Full-time / 40 hours per week Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm Hybrid-Remote after 90-day training period with a minimum of 3-days in the office

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience in a clinic/medical facility required.
  • Experience in medical insurance for payers or government programs is preferred.
  • Experience in Brightree and/or EPIC preferred
  • Sleep-focused DME equipment experience preferred.
Job Description and Needs Will Entail But Are Not Limited To:
  • Ensuring all patient referrals and documentation processes are completed accurately and efficiently, and within required timelines
  • Communicating with the team regarding completed, pending, or missing documentation
  • Creating and maintaining patient records and verifying insurance information for accurate billing
  • Scanning electronic records into patient accounts
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
  • Filling resupply orders for patient pick up
  • Provide timely follow up for patients as needed
  • Prioritize work effectively and remain focused on intake responsibilities
  • Complete thorough documentation in patient accounts in a timely manner
  • Strong, professional verbal and written communication with patients, providers, and other clinic staff
  • Ability to work independently and respond to team messages and emails promptly
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Quick learner in a fast-paced environment
