** Patient Care Technicians (CNA) for our Perioperative Care Unit**. This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures.  Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery. The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
** 0.8 FTE /32 hours per week
**** Evenings 8 or 12 hour shift / Schedule TBD
**** Qualifications
* ** Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C)
** required
* ** High school graduate or equivalent
** required.
*** Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience.
* ** 1+ year working in a hospital environment as a CNA strongly preferred.
*** Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire)
* Health Care Provider CPR Certification
** required.
*** One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred.
* Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.# #
