Within Lakeland Village, a Residential Habilitation Center (RHC) and under the supervision of an Attendant Counselor Manger. The Attendant Counselor 2 (AC2) provides care within the scope of practice for a Nursing Assistant-Certified and provides care under the clinical direction of an RN or LPN and the supervision of an Attendant Counselor Manager.

The AC2 develops and/or writes formal skill acquisition training programs, evaluates the effectiveness of the programs by means of periodic review of client response and modifies the program, as necessary. Functions as a member of an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) following ICF/IID/Nursing Home regulations. Provides the clients' training, care, and assistance in a residential living area or other areas on or off campus, depending upon the location of the client.

Lakeland Village is a state-operated, 24-hour residential facility serving approximately 210 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Located in Medical Lake and established in 1914, it offers a range of services through certified Nursing Facility and Intermediate Care Facility (ICF/IID) programs. Residents receive comprehensive care that includes medical and nursing support, therapeutic programming, and individualized treatment plans designed to promote independence and quality of life in a home-like setting.

Lakeland Village also offers day programs focused on sensory integration, vocational training, and recreational activities, along with short-term respite services for eligible individuals.

• Takes and records vital signs, measures & records weight, food & fluid intake and output.
• Performs residents' specific transfers, repositions, and transports residents about living unit/campus at times utilizing facility equipment appropriately.
• Performs standard precautions in the prevention of disease transmission. Performs personal care for persons of the same sex and/or persons of the opposite sex, including adults.
• Functions as a member of an Interdisciplinary Team (IKDT), including developing, documenting, modifying, and carrying out planned formal databased programs including collecting and recording data on daily basis and reporting at least annually to a Case Manager Registered Nursing (CMRN), Habilitation Plan Administrator (HPA), and/or Attendant Counselor Managers (ACM).
• Provide care in accordance with care plans/Individual Habilitation Plans. (IHP) Implement client's individualized behavior, support plans, and apply training techniques.
• Implement individual programs, plans, and services that are designed to maintain skills and facilitate independence.
• Observe, monitor, document, and reports changes in individuals' physical and/or mental conditions or unusual behaviors. Take appropriate action to provide client safety, security, and protection from abuse and neglect.
• Transports clients to appointments, activities, etc.
• Provide money management opportunities with clients whenever appropriate.
• Reports every incident observed, reported, or suspected abuse, neglect or negligent treatment of residents as well as injuries of unknown origin. Perform light housekeeping duties and launder clients' personal clothing and bedding.
• Receive and inventory cottage supplies, clients' clothing and personal possessions, and other miscellaneous items.

• Ability to support staff carrying out 1:1 or 2:1 staffing and the ability to directly implement 1:1 or 2:1 staffing with assaultive residents.
• Ability to demonstrate understanding and competence in all aspects of Therapeutic Options training in daily work assignments.
• Ability to receive instructions, assimilate the information and act according to those instructions.
• Ability to implement individualized programs, plans and services that are designed to maintain skills and facilitate independence; carry out prescribed programs as daily schedules require or as written.
