American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT CT certification for a night shift assignment covering ED and inpatient CT needs.

• Hospital-based CT Tech position
• Serves ED patients and inpatients with no scheduled outpatients during the shift
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, weekends Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Technologist works alone after midnight
• May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs
• Uses EPIC charting system
• Utilizes GE and Siemens equipment with PACS

• Minimum 1 year of experience in CT required
• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Active WA Radiological Technologist license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast
• Experience with 3D rendering including MIP, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Skilled in image display and post-processing
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and peripheral IV starts
• First-time travelers considered with 1 year of hospital experience

• Performs CT imaging across a range of studies including trauma head, carotid, sinuses, cervical/lumbar/thoracic spine, musculoskeletal trauma, and vascular chest imaging such as PE studies, CTA, and aorta
• Works in a Level I and Level II Trauma Center environment
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local candidates
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire as a traveler
• Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers, averaging 8-12 hours
