- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and data requirements.
- Analyze and profile large datasets using SQL to support business intelligence and data engineering needs.
- Develop and maintain source-to-target data mapping documents.
- Work closely with Data Engineers to validate data transformations and pipeline outputs.
- Partner with Power BI Developers to ensure data models are aligned with business use cases.
- Document business rules, data logic, and lineage to support data governance and quality initiatives.
- Perform gap analysis between current and desired data flows.
- Assist in UAT test case definition and execution in collaboration with QA analysts.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst with a focus on data.
- Strong SQL/KQL skills, including complex queries against large datasets.
- Demonstrated experience in data mapping, data profiling, and source-to-target documentation.
- Experience working with modern data platforms; familiarity with Microsoft Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Lake, and/or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interfacing with business and technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Project/Program management skills.
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
