The AWS Boost Team is building next‑generation enterprise data center management products on native AWS from the ground up. Responsibilities
  • Own the scoping, planning, and execution of features and processes that integrate AWS Boost and Supply Chain services to manage inventory movement to, from, and between data centers.
  • Serve as a highly visible Principal TPM across AWS Infrastructure teams and other Amazon business units.
  • Partner with and influence multiple engineering teams to deliver complex, cross‑functional projects.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade‑offs, and balance business needs with technical constraints.
  • Design and implement a closed‑loop mechanism for inventory management in AWS data centers, coordinating migration from bespoke tooling to a centralized platform.
  • Provide regular data‑driven updates to executive sponsors and stakeholders.
A day in the life

You will work with stakeholders, engineering teams, and data center technicians to design and implement inventory management within AWS data centers, migrating operations to a centralized platform, and reporting progress to leadership.

About the team

AWS Boost maximizes available capacity while minimizing operational expenditure and protecting safety, security, availability, and compliance. Data center technicians use Boost to discover, plan, and execute work; managers monitor, prioritize, assign, and audit work;
Service Owners request work and receive feedback on progress. Boost matches requests with instructions, allocates materials, and provides tooling to plan, schedule, and audit work.

Procedures performed using our technology generate predictable, repeatable outcomes that baseline workflows for continuous improvement and automated process control.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands‑on experience managing complex technology projects
