ETL Tester

We are looking for Entry/Junior/Mid level ETL Testers.

An ideal candidate should have prior experience working with Unix,ALM,Quality Center,SQL,BI Tools(Informatica/SSIS),Reporting Tools(SSRS/Microstrategy),

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Relevant certifications in ETL testing or data warehousing (e.g., ISTQB) may be beneficial.

Proven experience as an ETL Tester or in a similar role, typically 2-5+ years.

Hands-on experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).

Experience in testing data integration, data migration, and ETL processes in a data warehouse environment.

Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and SQL querying.

Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries to validate data transformations and integration.

Knowledge of data quality concepts, data profiling, and data validation techniques.

Experience with test automation tools and frameworks used in ETL testing.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for automation and validation tasks.

Understanding of the ETL lifecycle, including extraction of data from various sources, transformation according to business rules, and loading into data warehouses or data marts.

Knowledge of data modeling and schema design principles.

Experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

Ability to perform end-to-end data validation and reconciliation across different systems.

Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.

Attention to detail and ability to ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing.
