AboutThe Role
We are looking for a Linux Automation Engineer with a strong Dev Ops mindset to help build, automate, and operate scalable, reliable infrastructure. This role focuses heavily on automation, infrastructure as code, CI/CD enablement, and close collaboration with development teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing Linux systems at scale using Ansible playbooks and Bash scripting while continuously improving deployment and operational workflows.

- Perform Linux system administration tasks (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories for configuration management and automated deployments
- Write, maintain, and optimize Bash scripts for automation, monitoring, system maintenance, and CI/CD workflows
- Automate server provisioning, configuration management, and patching
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability; implement alerting and observability solutions
- Apply security best practices, system hardening, and automated patching
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments and improve release reliability
- Troubleshoot complex system and deployment issues across environments
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, with a focus on root-cause analysis and prevention
- Document infrastructure, automation workflows, and operational procedures
- 5 – 7 years working in Linux OS deployment/maintenance production environment
- 5 – 7 years of hands‑on experience with Ansible playbooks from ground up that includes experience with modules, roles, handlers and notify, registers, facts, and use of tags
- Strong proficiency with Bash scripting skills for automation and operational tooling
- Solid understanding of networking, system performance, and troubleshooting
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Expertise in use of Git/Git repos and branch protection rules for version control.
- Experience supporting highly available or distributed systems
- Ability to articulate concepts, solutions, and standards to members of the project with various levels of skill sets through presentations and/or discussions.
- Python scripting skill is a nice to have
