Role Overview

It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion dollar business and we are looking for a Sr SAP FICO Product Manager to work in a start‑up environment. As the FI & CO expert, you possess both the functional and technical background that enables you to work with technology and demonstrate a strategic mindset about Amazon Leo initiatives. You will tackle a wide range of problem‑solving situations requiring an understanding of business processes and SAP configuration expertise, design solutions, enhance and provide production support, and work closely with other SAP functional teams while designing and enhancing systems critical for scalability and cost‑effective manufacturing of satellites and ground gateway terminals.

To be successful you need to be highly motivated, detail oriented, and an effective communicator.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of projects related to SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) module from design to deployment including integration with Amazon Corporate systems.
  • Build deployment project plans and manage risks impacting successful delivery.
  • Develop use cases by gathering business requirements, work with software development to build required features, clearly communicate dependencies and manage/track exceptions.
  • Participate and build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to ensure proposed solutions can meet business requirements using SAP S/4.
  • Actively participate in Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and User Training.
  • Apply strong knowledge of business processes for designing, developing, and testing SAP S/4 HANA ERP functionality, including expertise in general ledger, accounts payable, project system, cost center accounting, product cost controlling, and profit center accounting.
  • Configure SAP S/4 HANA FICO to meet business requirements, including connection points with PP, MM, PS, & SD and other modules and implementation of SAP best practices.
  • Navigate through a large amount of ambiguity and drive consensus between cross‑functional stakeholder groups.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, Quick Sight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
