We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design, build, and lead the delivery of enterprise‑grade analytics and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and the broader Microsoft data platform. You will focus on semantic modeling, scalable dashboard architecture, data transformation, and performance‑optimized analytics. This role blends hands‑on development with governance and mentorship to ensure reporting is trusted, secure, and decision‑ready.

Design and deliver end‑to‑end Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions

Translate requirements into scalable semantic models and effective visual designs

Build and optimize dimensional/tabular models (star schema, aggregations, performance tuning)

Develop advanced DAX measures, reusable KPI frameworks, and calculated logic standards

Build transformation pipelines using Power Query (M) and SQL; enable reliable refresh patterns

Integrate Power BI with cloud and on‑prem data sources; improve lineage and data quality controls

Implement governance: workspace structure, deployment pipelines, naming/versioning, documentation

Configure security models, including RLS/OLS, and enforce tenant/workspace controls

Optimize dataset/report performance through query tuning, model refinement, and capacity best practices

Mentor developers via DAX reviews, model design guidance, and visualization standards; create templates/playbooks

Bachelor’s in CS/Information Systems/Analytics (Master’s preferred)

8+ years in BI/data/analytics development

5+ years hands‑on Power BI development in enterprise environments

Experience delivering production analytics platforms and executive reporting solutions

Power BI:
Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Premium, Power BI Report Server

Microsoft Data Platform: SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Dataflows, Datamarts

Modeling/Analytics: DAX, Power Query (M), tabular/semantic models, star schema design

Data Integration: T‑SQL, stored procedures, views, ETL/ELT patterns

Ecosystem:
Excel, Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams integration

Dev Ops:
Power BI deployment pipelines, Git integration, Azure Dev Ops

Connectivity: REST APIs, OData, flat files, enterprise SaaS sources

Governance/Security: RLS, OLS, tenant/workspace governance

Storage/Platforms:
Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, Databricks, Synapse

PL-300; DP-900; SQL or Data Analytics certification
