We are looking for a talented, experienced and creative Cloud Application Architect to work with one of the leading wholesale retailers in the US. The ideal candidate will be able to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving environment.

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud‑native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support application modernization.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across GCP services.
• Migrate legacy applications to modern cloud architectures using Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), App Engine, and Cloud Functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure successful project delivery; stay up‑to‑date on the latest GCP technologies and trends.
• Work with IT Architecture staff (Cloud Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Data Teams), software developers, and IT managers to design solutions that meet requirements; assist in analyzing the solution design business case.

• 15+ years of work experience with at least 7+ years on cloud platforms.
• Expertise in GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud SQL, Apigee, API Gateway, IAM, network services such as VPC and Cloud Load Balancing, Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Strong knowledge of security tools (IAM, Sailpoint, Security Command Center) and networking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and optimize cloud solutions.
• Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred and a GCP certification within 6 months of joining.
• Experience with .NET framework, C#, and .NET Core.
