Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to support aviation carrier analytics, spend management, and cost automation initiatives within a global air cargo and transportation network. This role will focus on designing scalable reporting and rate card solutions that improve how carrier costs, airport fees, fuel charges, and operational spend are analyzed and managed across international operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with large and complex datasets, building automated reporting solutions, and leveraging AI-powered tools to improve data collection, normalization, and operational efficiency.

- Research, collect, and consolidate operational and pass-through cost data including landing fees, takeoff charges, parking, navigation, pilot services, fuel costs, and related aviation expenses
- Build and maintain comprehensive rate cards covering air carriers and airport operations across multiple global regions
- Design scalable data structures and reporting frameworks for ongoing operational and financial analysis
- Leverage AI-powered tools and automation technologies to accelerate data collection, validation, enrichment, and normalization
- Develop sustainable, low-maintenance reporting mechanisms including automated data pipelines, refresh schedules, and self-service analytics tools
- Analyze carrier invoices, operational costs, and aviation fee schedules to identify trends, discrepancies, and optimization opportunities
- Support spend analysis, invoice auditing, manifest processing, and payment-related analytics initiatives
- Deliver progress updates and analytical findings to leadership and stakeholders
- Recommend process improvements that enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams supporting aviation operations, analytics, finance, and supply chain initiatives
- Collaborative onsite environment with strong partnership across analytics and operational teams

Years Of Experience- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or data engineering
- 3+ years working with large, structured, semi-structured, or unstructured datasets
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and automation mindset
- Comfortable working with operational and financial datasets at scale
- Able to independently build scalable reporting and analytics solutions
- Effective communicator capable of presenting analytical findings to leadership
- Strong attention to detail with experience improving manual processes through automation
- Curious and proactive in identifying opportunities for operational improvement
