This role is based in Bellevue, WA. You’ll attend in‑person at least three days per week, while telecommuting is permitted. Robinhood values the power of in‑person work to accelerate progress and spark innovation, but we also support a flexible schedule.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, build, and support Robinhood’s production network and infrastructure systems, ensuring project infrastructure needs are met and partnering with engineering teams to improve reliability.
  • Design and maintain scalable, resilient cloud and data‑center networking solutions using automation and infrastructure‑management practices.
  • Implement and refine monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively detect and mitigate issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Design and maintain secure remote‑access solutions to protect company data.
  • Develop and enhance automation tools and services to streamline network deployments and configuration management.
  • Support essential production network services to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support connectivity and peering requirements.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement in operational controls and participate in regular on‑call rotations.
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus one year of experience in a related occupation.
  • Experience in designing and operating production network infrastructure in data‑center and cloud environments, including routing and connectivity technologies.
  • Working knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF in on‑premises or hybrid network environments.
  • Experience developing network automation solutions using programming languages such as Python or Go.
  • Experience building or supporting backend services and APIs used for infrastructure or network automation platforms.
  • Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in large‑scale production networked or distributed systems.
  • Experience supporting scalable and resilient network services in cloud‑based, on‑premises or hybrid environments.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, using standard networking commands or APIs.
  • Background checks required.

Base Pay Range

$138,986 – $195,000 per year.

In addition to the base pay range, this role is eligible for bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.
