Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled .NET & Azure Developer with strong experience in IoT device integration, C# development, and backend systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable cloud solutions, working with connected devices, and optimizing backend architectures using Microsoft technologies.

This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy IoT-enabled applications and services in the Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend applications and APIs using .NET Core / .NET Framework and C#
• Build and integrate solutions that connect and manage IoT devices securely and reliably
• Implement real-time data processing and telemetry ingestion from IoT devices
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and data engineering teams to define requirements and ensure seamless integration
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement security best practices for IoT devices and data pipelines
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to CI/CD automation
• Document system architecture, technical designs, and user guides

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of .NET (C#) backend development experience
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Services, IoT Hub, Azure Storage, etc.)
• Experience integrating and managing IoT devices or telemetry data
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops or other CI/CD tools
• Solid understanding of security practices related to IoT and cloud systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Digital Twins, Azure Sphere, or Edge computing
• Knowledge of MQTT, AMQP, or other IoT messaging protocols
• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with database systems such as Cosmos DB, SQL Server, or Table Storage
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
