Site Reliability Engineer Your role and responsibilities

• Manage deployments of Apptio services to AWS Gov Cloud.
• Monitor KPIs of services running in AWS Gov Cloud.
• Author and maintain documentation of deployment and monitoring processes.
• Use runbooks to troubleshoot and triage production issues.
• Detect issues and handle Tier 1 troubleshooting and serve as “remote hands” for Tier 2-3 issue resolution.
• Participate in on‑call rotation.
• Perform maintenance of the platform (patching, resets, upgrades, etc.).

High School Diploma/GED

None

• Experience with distributed Linux/Unix environment
• Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
• Familiarity with bash, python, or other scripting languages

• Familiarity with observability (e.g. Prometheus)
• Familiarity with cloud provider services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
