BI/EDW Technical Lead

The BI/EDW Technical lead will work closely with business & IT stakeholders and understand ETL/BI/DWH/Reporting requirements and build end to end BI/DWH solution. Experience of doing BI/Reporting/MDM/DWH/Analytics in strongly desired. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, should be able to architect complete BI reporting/DWH solution. Strong business analysis and requirement definition background in the areas of BI Reporting/DWH.
• Strong understanding and ability in working with the Cognos Business Intelligence technical stack, including Framework Manager modeling
Experience in working on large Data Warehousing environments
Experience in report & SQL performance tuning
Understanding of basic manufacturing business terminologies & processes
Basic knowledge of OLAP (CUBE Modeling) and DMR (Dimensionally Modeled Relational Data)
Experience in performance tuning
Experienced with implementation methodologies and best practices (e.g. waterfall, agile, other)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Experience in establishing criteria for data use/test cases
Experience defining and implementing error and exception handling strategies
Ability to balance multiple projects and work both independently and as part of a team
