Key Job Responsibilities

Define and manage a long‑term vision to improve business forecasting results through creating scalable metrics, pipelines and structures.

Communicate with analytics peers and stakeholders to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the business.

Collaborate with transportation and tech teams to understand, anticipate, and respond to current and future needs.

Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of self‑service analytic capabilities, and engineer data‑driven processes that drive business value.

Connect with the Amazon community of AI builder professionals to stay current on technology trends, data tools and techniques to improve the performance of the team.

Create and foster an environment that values and promotes an inclusive approach to problem solving and continuous learning to improve.

Build bar‑raising dashboards that trigger proactive actions, enable our stakeholders to uncover insights, trends and opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers.

Leverage querying and modeling languages, statistical models to fuel these data products.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of SQL experience
1+ years of processing large, multi‑dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience
Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi‑TB) data sets
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
