Job Description
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Senior Delivery Consultant - Security. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You’ll be a key player in driving customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen.
Key Job Responsibilities- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
- 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- 1+ years in advanced incident response to lead response efforts including detection, analysis, and managing eradication processes.
- 5+ years of experience with security services and best practices including implementing security controls and optimizing security measures.
- 3+ years of scripting language, or 2+ years of customer facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure work experience.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
- AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation).
- AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, Dev Ops Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty) preferred.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
- Understanding of industry standards (e.g., PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST frameworks).
- Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti‑DDOS, SIEM).
