RF​/Cellular & Wi-Fi Calling Network Operations Engineer

Job Description

Required skills and qualifications for the role: RF Technology;
Cellular Networks (4G/5G);
WiFi Calling;
Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS); GPS signal validation; SIM provisioning and subscriber management; MCN Network Engineer;
Networking Security;
Network Certification.

• Monitor RF/Cellular and Wi‑Fi Calling networks for performance and reliability.
• Execute network parameter changes to optimize performance.
• Clear alarms and investigate bugs impacting network services.
• Provide root cause analysis and resolution for network incidents.

• Perform software upgrades and ensure pre‑testing and acceptance testing are completed.
• Lead planning and design activities for new deployments.
• Manage hardware installations and provisioning tasks including SIM management and subscriber updates.

• Conduct MTBF daily testing.
• Analyze network traces and troubleshoot performance issues.

• Maintain and support dial‑up servers and Net Scout services.
• Build and manage MCN service applications hosted on servers.

• Provide GPS and RF support including Wi‑Fi calling.
• Conduct monthly RF walk testing and analysis for MCN and mobile operators.
• Validate RF signals in response to customer complaints regarding mobile operator network performance.

• Salary Range: $64,000 - $104,000 a year
