Job Title: Technology Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Operations

Department: Operations / Information Technology

FSLA Status: Exempt

Employment : 12 months

Wage range: $92,000 - $125,000 per year

Eton School in Bellevue, Washington, is an independent school for children age three through grade eight whose mission in educating the whole child inspires creative, confident thinkers who have an enduring passion for learning and are poised to contribute to the world. We seek a Technology Coordinator committed to service-oriented technical support, to helping others use technology with confidence and who is eager to grow their knowledge and skills in an educational environment.

The Technology Coordinator supports the school’s mission by providing responsive Tier 1 technical support, partnering with teachers to effectively integrate technology into the classroom, and delivering training that helps faculty and staff confidently use core tools such as Microsoft 365 and other educational platforms. This is a hands‑on, service‑oriented role focused on day‑to‑day user support and instructional technology collaboration rather than systems or network administration.

The school environment includes both Apple and Windows systems, as well as a range of cloud‑based platforms and classroom technologies.

This is a full‑time position, and the approximate work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00‑4:30 with occasional events/meetings outside regular hours.

Examples of Daily Tasks Include:
  • Provide friendly, timely Tier 1 technical support for staff and faculty across campus through the helpdesk ticketing system
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve more complex issues
  • Troubleshoot everyday technology issues (devices, software, connectivity, accounts, phones)
  • Maintain accurate documentation, inventory, and support records
  • Partner with teachers to support meaningful, age‑appropriate use of technology in the classroom
  • Deliver clear, engaging training and create easy‑to‑follow how‑to resources
  • Support onboarding/offboarding, device setup, and account management
  • Assist with classroom technology, AV systems, and school events
Benefits

Employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) retirement plan following one year and a minimum of 1,000 hours of employment; for each dollar an employee contributes, Eton School will provide a matching contribution of up to 8% of an employee's eligible compensation. Health, vision, and dental plans are available to employees working 24 hours or more per week, beginning the first day after one full month of employment.

Other benefits include discounted Costco membership, discounted rates for Aflac plans, complimentary childcare for enrolled children of employees while working (up to allowable IRS limits), as well as paid professional development opportunities. The paid time off for this position includes most federal holidays, academic‑year school breaks, vacation time, and sick/personal time. Please ask the hiring manager for more details if you have any questions.
