The R2L team builds the next generation supply chain for Amazon’s ultra‑fast customer experiences, including Amazon Fresh, Sub‑Same Day, Amazon Now, and other upcoming businesses. We’re seeking an experienced data scientist with strong analytical skills to drive data science initiatives and deliver customer‑centric insights and machine learning models.
Key Responsibilities- Inform the data science charter and collaborate across data science, data engineering, and business intelligence teams.
- Provide high‑velocity analytics to multiple business and technical stakeholders.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities using data‑driven insights, machine learning, and causal inference models.
- Produce high‑quality data analyses, clear findings, and actionable recommendations.
- Balance unknowns and deliver results to delight customers.

Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python), or statistical/mathematical software (R, SAS, Matlab, etc.).
- 4+ years of data scientist experience.
- Experience with statistical models such as multinomial logistic regression.
- 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (AWS Quick Sight, Tableau, R Shiny, etc.).
- Experience managing data pipelines.
- Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team.
