About this OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Lead Integration Engineer to join our Mobile Financial Services team in Bellevue, USA (Hybrid). In this role, you will be responsible for the integration, deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and support of the Ericsson Wallet Platform (EWP) and associated Digital Financial Services solutions. You will collaborate with customers, solution architects, project managers, banks, mobile operators, and third-party vendors to deliver secure and scalable Mobile Money and Digital Wallet solutions.
WhatYou Will Do
- Analyze customer requirements and solution design documents; perform installation, configuration, integration, and deployment of the Ericsson Wallet Platform across development, staging, and production environments.
- Integrate the platform with banking systems, payment gateways, USSD/SMSC platforms, Service Delivery Platforms, charging systems, and external Fin Tech ecosystems.
- Troubleshoot integration issues across application, database, and network layers.
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including end‑to‑end transaction validation and production readiness reviews.
- Deploy application patches, hotfixes, and software releases; support production activities during maintenance windows.
- Prepare and maintain key project documents including MOPs, SOPs, SOWs, RCAs, and deployment/rollback plans.
- Partner with Solution Architects, Project Managers, Product Teams, customers, and partners; contribute to technical workshops and knowledge sharing.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in mobile money platforms, digital wallet or Fin Tech solutions, payment systems, or Telecom Value Added Services (VAS).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
- Practical experience with containerization and cloud technologies:
Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (EKS, ALB, security groups, ingress controllers). - Solid understanding of networking and integration protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, REST/XML APIs, SMPP/SMTP, and SSL/TLS configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Oracle database administration, including SQL and PL/SQL.
- Demonstrated experience in application deployment, patch management, and testing cycles (SIT and UAT).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑focused approach.
- Clear communication skills and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across global time zones.
- Flexibility to travel and support production activities outside standard business hours when needed.
- Hands‑on experience with Fin Tech platforms, wallet technology, and the Ericsson Charging System.
- Experience with MySQL, clustering technologies, and cloud‑native deployments.
Salary range for this position in Washington is $125,000 to $163,800 per year. The role includes an annual bonus opportunity based on performance of the business and individual objectives.
