- We are seeking a skilled Data Center Network Architect to design, implement, and maintain high-performance network infrastructures optimized for AI workloads, ensuring seamless operability across multiple platforms.
- The role focuses on developing a strategic network topology that supports the evolving needs of AI and high-performance computing, while collaborating with physical design teams to optimize space, power, cooling, and cabling management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document high-performance, scalable network solutions tailored for AI workloads, ensuring multi-platform operability across on-premises data centers, cloud environments, and virtualized systems.
- Design a forward-looking network topology strategy that incorporates emerging technologies and trends in AI and high-performance computing.
- Collaborate with physical design and facilities teams to optimize network infrastructure for space, power, cooling, and cabling management.
Implementation:
- Configure and manage high-performance networking equipment, including switches, routers, and network interconnects optimized for AI and HPC workloads.
- Ensure seamless integration with cloud networking solutions and virtualization platforms.
Security & Compliance:
- Ensure network architectures meet stringent security standards for AI and HPC environments; implement robust security policies and disaster recovery plans.
Optimization & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor and optimize network performance for AI workloads; resolve complex network issues; lead disaster recovery efforts.
Documentation & Training:
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation; mentor and train junior engineers on best practices for AI-centric network design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in network design and architecture, with a focus on high-performance computing or AI environments.
- Proficient in advanced networking protocols and technologies that support AI and HPC workloads.
- Experience with multi-platform environments, including on-premises data centers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of data center design principles, including power, cooling, and cabling management.
- Certifications in networking (e.g. ACE, JCNIE, CCIE) or data center design are preferred.
