Position Summary

Credence has an upcoming need for a SAF/CNS Division Lead. The SAF/CNS Division Lead serves as the senior contractor representative and day-to-day integration lead for all work performed in support of SAF/CNS. This Key Personnel designation is independent of the individual’s primary technical labor category. The selected Lead will also fill one of the eligible CNS technical assignments listed below while providing leadership across the full team.

The Lead ensures that division products are technically accurate, actionable, coordinated across SAF/CN stakeholders, and delivered on schedule with minimal Government rework.

Primary Responsibilities Division Leadership, Integration, and Executive Support
  • Lead and integrate contractor execution across all SAF/CNS work and serve as the principal division-level interface to SAF/CNS leadership and the Contractor Program Manager.
  • Translate DAF CIO priorities into coordinated work plans, assignments, decision products, and measurable outcomes; match work to the appropriate policy, architecture, cloud, ICAM, service-design, ESMA, or technology-integration specialist.
  • Brief senior DAF leaders on enterprise IT objectives, policy decisions, modernization progress, investment tradeoffs, and emerging risks.
  • Coordinate across SAF/CNZ, SAF/CNB, SAF/CND, SAF/CTO, OSD, Joint, MAJCOM, FLDCOM, program offices, and acquisition stakeholders to align enterprise IT activities and prevent policy or fielding delays.
  • Establish team priorities, monitor workload and suspenses, resolve cross-functional dependencies, mentor personnel, and elevate staffing, schedule, quality, or mission risks before they affect performance.
  • Review and approve team work products for technical accuracy, clarity, traceability to governing authority, and readiness for Government decision or publication, drawing on the responsible technical specialist when the product falls outside the Lead’s primary discipline.
Technical Contribution
  • Perform substantive technical work in at least one CNS mission area, based on the individual’s qualifications and assigned labor category: enterprise IT policy and executive briefings; network and infrastructure architecture; cloud integration; ICAM and Zero Trust; user experience and service design; enterprise services and ESMA governance; or technology integration and acquisition analysis.
  • Apply sufficient working knowledge across the remaining CNS mission areas to integrate specialist outputs, identify conflicts or gaps, understand technical and policy dependencies, and present a unified recommendation to Government leadership.
  • Advise leadership on the viability, cost, risk, interoperability, cybersecurity impacts, user impacts, and mission implications of enterprise IT governance and modernization approaches.
  • Ensure cross-cutting cloud, data, AI/ML, Zero Trust, portfolio, PPBE, and cybersecurity considerations are incorporated where relevant and coordinated with the appropriate SAF/CN division or stakeholder.
  • Maintain visibility of division trackers, governance actions, technical assessments, coordination status, publication milestones, service agreements, and delay risks.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance; must maintain the clearance and required access throughout performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, professional training, and directly relevant experience.
  • At least 12 years of…
