What you’ll do in your role. Instructional Design- Partner with legal and regulatory subject matter experts to obtain, validate, and translate complex legal content into clear, measurable learning objectives.
- Apply instructional design theory and adult learning principles, including ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Kirkpatrick's Model, to design effective, learner-centered compliance training.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive eLearning courses, assessments, job aids, and supporting resources using Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), building to WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Conduct learner analysis to identify patterns in engagement, completion, and assessment performance that inform content design and program improvement.
- Review and redesign existing curriculum in response to regulatory changes, policy updates, and stakeholder-identified gaps. Develop new courses when required.
- Embed strong visual design and communication principles across all deliverables consistent with T-Mobile brand guidelines.
- Serve as the team's technical authority on learning technology platforms, authoring tools, and AI applications in instructional design.
- Proactively evaluate emerging AI tools for content development, translation, localization, and learner personalization.
- Support the team's AI integration efforts, identifying opportunities for maintenance automation and tool-assisted course development as enterprise capabilities become available.
- Partner with the Learning Coordinator on LMS platform capabilities, integrations, and content deployment.
- Advise the Director and Sr. Manager on learning technology strategy and tool investments.
- Maintain working proficiency in LMS administration, including publishing SCORM/xAPI content, managing course configurations, and pulling completion and performance data.
- Serve as the team's primary vendor manager, owning the external vendor relationship including SOW development and administration, and billing oversight.
- Collaborate with vendors on instructional content and course development work, ensuring deliverables meet program standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain visibility across the compliance training portfolio, tracking active projects, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage multiple concurrent design projects using workback schedules and provide regular status reporting to leadership.
- Coordinate eLearning deployment with the Learning Coordinator, ensuring courses launch and function correctly within the LMS.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in eLearning development and instructional design, preferably within a legal, compliance, or regulatory environment.
- Strong command of instructional design theory and adult learning principles, with demonstrated ability to apply learning science to complex, content-heavy subject matter.
