Sr. Product Manager- Technical, WW Ops Finance S&A

As a Senior Product Manager-Technical in WW Ops Finance Standardization & Automation, you will lead the vision, roadmap and execution for a combined charter spanning both data management/governance and data consumption by finance routines. We don't build data - we manage and govern it. Data management and governance is the critical function that ensures a trustworthy, reliable supply of data: the oxygen for the entire Amazon Stores Finance organization.

You will own the products that govern how finance data is standardized, certified, and made trustworthy (data platforms, metrics, governance) AND the products that let finance routines consume that governed data at scale - including reporting and financial bridging (variance analysis, carve‑outs, plan‑vs‑actual composition). ApplyingAIto data management and governance is an exciting frontier for this role: you'll tackle the hard problem of extracting semantic meaning from a multitude of data ecosystems that often lack proper documentation, and translating that into use‑case‑specific, trustworthy datasets and metrics- a frontier with significant room to invent and evolve.

Youwill partner with other Product Managers, Finance partners, Business Intelligence (BI) Managers, Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs), and Technical Program/Product Managers (TPMs) to understand inputs from multiple internal and external sources and develop a product vision and strategy that connects the governed data layerdirectlyto the finance routines that depend on it.

This comes with a lot of opportunities to develop/launch a new suite of technical product capabilities to govern our data ecosystem and the services built on top of it, and to grow as a product leader.

The critical functions for this leader are as follows:
Own one or more products spanning Data Management/Governance and Finance Reporting&Bridging Services:

• Be the ultimate owner of the product vision, strategy and execution across boththe data governance layer (standardization, certification, metrics, metadata) and the consumptionlayer (reporting, financial bridging, and routine‑level data delivery).
• Champion the application of AI to data management and governance – extraction… – Createand manage a unified roadmap, prioritization framework, entitlement model,and success metrics that connect data governance directly to finance‑routine outcomes (e.g., faster bridge delivery, self‑service reporting, reduced manual reconciliation).
• Define how finance routines (W , M , MEC, planning) consume governed data - including bridging/carve‑out logic, drill-down grain, and dimension inheritance - in partnershipwiththe data governance roadmap.
