We are seeking a leader with procurement experience to strategically source auxiliary equipment and services for fulfillment operations within the CAPEX – Equipment, Mobility and Infrastructure category. The role coordinates across multiple Amazon teams and interacts with suppliers to satisfy organizational requirements. It focuses on developing and executing robust category sourcing strategies, delivering savings, improving supply chain resilience and productivity across the category.

• Establish multi‑year category sourcing strategies.
• Lead cross‑functional strategic sourcing teams.
• Negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts to optimize Amazon’s competitive position.
• Drive appropriate relationships with category suppliers to achieve optimal solutions and cost of ownership that meet business goals, supported by continuous improvement culture and performance benchmarks.
• Manage category suppliers to proactively identify, monitor and optimize opportunities.
• Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities and keep key stakeholders informed.
• Drive category suppliers in Supplier Relationship Management activities to mitigate risk, improve performance and add value to Amazon.
• Identify, achieve and report on savings and value targets for category sourcing activities.
• Align with internal customers and understand the business application of the category.

• Earn the trust of key stakeholders to drive alignment with the business.
• Create a robust category strategy in conjunction with internal customers to ensure a comprehensive, unified approach for the category.
• Achieve yearly cost saving or value targets appropriate to the category, aligned with annual budget processes.
• Define and report on key metrics that measure effectiveness of supply and cost savings.
• Champion AI workflows and procurement standards.

As a CAPEX Equipment procurement leader at Amazon, you will be at the forefront of driving value and innovation across the Customer Fulfillment network. You will balance short‑term operational needs with long‑term strategic goals, shaping the future of e‑commerce fulfillment and impacting Amazon’s bottom line.

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

• 5+ years of driving process improvements experience.
• Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or a related field.
• Experience being responsible/leading large and complex negotiations.
