Procurement Manager - Produce

This position requires a Procurement Manager with expertise in the fresh fruit distribution industry to oversee and optimize procurement processes. 1. Procurement of Red Delicious and Gala apples from Washington State and surrounding regions.
2. Identify and collaborate with efficient and cost-effective pack houses.
3. Oversee end-to-end supply chain from field procurement to export dispatch.
4. Assist in the Overseas Sales made by our various stations globally, to the US and develop local sales operations across the U.S. 5. Drive business development with large retail chains, including facilitating sales partnerships with major supermarkets such as COSTCO.
6. Support expansion into the almonds and pistachios segment, leveraging existing networks and identifying new opportunities. Profile Minimum 10 years of direct procurement experience in the cold chain, fresh fruit distribution sector (categories include apples, nuts, etc) Strong knowledge of procurement strategies and supplier management in the fresh fruit distribution industry. Proven ability to negotiate contracts and achieve cost savings. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience in collaborating with global cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of market trends and legal compliance in procurement. Strong communication skills to build and maintain supplier relationships. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $135,000 to $185,000 annually.
