Senior Manager, Supply Chain Manager, WWEI Supply Chain Engineering
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management to join our team. In this role, you will drive the automation of Amazon Logistics delivery stations across North America and Europe, collaborating closely with our engineering team for new product development, identifying and selecting strategic suppliers, leading complex negotiations, and ensuring seamless project execution from technology proof of concept to scale‑up strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Selection and
Qualification:- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Lead the negotiation process to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Conduct rigorous supplier qualification processes to assess ability to meet quality, delivery, and performance standards.
- Project Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to keep projects on track.
- Supply Chain Optimization:
- Continuously analyze supply‑chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement strategies to scale up technologies across regions with qualified suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and address any issues promptly.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential supply‑chain risks, such as supplier disruptions, quality issues, or geopolitical factors.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize the impact of these risks.
The Supply Chain team owns the supply chain set‑up and readiness for all new programs and products across multiple engineering categories (equipment, fixtures, consumables, etc.). We partner with stakeholders in Worldwide Engineering, WHS, Design, Operations, and Procurement to program‑manage vendors during design, deployment, and change‑management stages, delivering program milestones, cost, quality, and sustainability.
Basic Qualifications- 10+ years of managing procurement teams with direct experience in supplier/supply‑chain management.
- Experience in strategic sourcing for high‑tech electronics/computing/communications fields.
- Experience in supply‑chain functions such as contracting, demand management, planning, procurement, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree.

Base salary range: $–$ USD annually (USA, WA, Bellevue). The Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
