Summary

The Network Director Clinical Engineering leads clinical engineering initiatives, managing the day‑to‑day execution of the TRIMEDX Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP). The director collaborates with customers, mentors site managers, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and Joint Commission inspections.

Responsibilities Leadership
  • Apply technology knowledge to oversee site operations and provide direction.
  • Oversee staffing to deliver the best service and program.
  • Create and manage the network budget.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate programs to meet network goals.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop others for continuous service excellence.
  • Represent Clinical Engineering on committees and attend council meetings.
  • Persuade divergent groups to build consensus and mobilize toward outcomes.
  • Drive results across a broad cross‑functional scope.
  • Make decisions about course of action to achieve targeted goals.
Operations Management
  • Manage the Integrated Service Plan (ISP).
  • Oversee the integrity of site inventory and databases.
  • Direct acquisition, maintenance, repair, and staff training for safe device use.
  • Document all preventive maintenance and maintenance parts for rapid repair.
  • Manage Joint Commission inspections and audits for regulatory compliance.
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives.
Account Management & Development
  • Represent and advance partnership relationships with client hospitals.
  • Define network goals to meet TRIMEDX and hospital objectives.
  • Pursue opportunities for business entry.
  • Deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QVRs).
  • Oversee capital acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with customers and vendors for win‑win solutions.
  • Lead defined customer group results for diverse needs.
General
  • Focus >50% on one customer health network system with >1 site.
  • Financial and operational targets include $25M P&L responsibility.
  • Portfolio includes a hospital system level.
  • Time horizon:
    Monthly 40%, Quarterly 40%, Annually 20%.
  • Provide clear direction, associate development, engagement, and performance management.
  • Travel and onsite presence at customer locations required.
Skills and Experience
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Day‑to‑day and long‑term site operations oversight.
  • Leadership, motivation, and development of others.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Strategic leadership to execute initiatives.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, or related field (equivalent experience acceptable).
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a clinical engineering environment.
  • Minimum 5 years experience leading people.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance required.
  • Experience managing financials, contracts, costing, and equipment.
Compensation

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $170,000 – $195,000. TRIMEDX may provide relocation, an annual incentive bonus, and other benefits.
