40 hours/week, 8:00am–5:00pm

Salary Range: $125,632 – $135,400 per year (plus possible sign‑on bonus and restricted stock units)

• Drive results through communication, risk assessment, decision-making, leading and influencing stakeholders.
• Independently manage complex, cross‑functional industrial builds from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders—including real estate, design engineering, entitlements, construction, finance, launch/startup, architects, engineers, permitting agencies, developers, and landlords—to secure resources, scope infrastructure builds, set priorities and milestones, drive delivery, meet deadlines, and resolve issues.
• Represent project and technical information to many different audiences.
• Manage working relationships with stakeholders and vendors, leading constructive dialogue to resolve and prevent project issues.
• Manage vendor procurement, oversee professional service providers, ensuring their skills and competencies meet the needs of entrusting property and projects.
• Perform pricing reviews for scope inclusions and exclusions and negotiate cost of work with developers, general contractors, and design consultants.
• Perform cost estimating, schedule tracking, and forecasting; identify and solve factors that may impede a successful permitted project hand‑over to Amazon stakeholders.
• Supervise implementation and management of Amazon safety programs and standards with the entire internal and external project team during planning phases.
• Focus on site selection, scope development, and coordinate with design teams to develop site plans and composite floor plans in compliance with design standards and operational requirements.
• Develop and manage schedules, including design and permitting; select other vendors.
• Prepare and present project status/risk reports and provide clear, concise summaries to leadership and management.
• Domestic travel may be required up to 50%.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in project or program management.
• At least 3 years of experience managing projects from design phase through implementation and operation, negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.
• At least 3 years of experience packaging processing/logistical facilities with complex equipment or comparable experience.
