Aleto Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) to support space planning, design, construction, closeout, and related analytical services across the client's asset lifecycle. You will manage the organization and installation of furniture projects of varying complexity, working closely with general contractors in the field and at the office.
EssentialJob Duties Customer Service
- Act as the main point of contact for the customer and other parties during project execution.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
- Negotiate clear project expectations and deliverables.
- Develop plans, schedules, logistics, and deliveries aligned with client goals.
- Coordinate work with third parties (A&D firms, facility managers, contractors, movers).
- Provide regular updates and ensure furniture installation aligns with contractor schedules.
- Review plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy.
- Facilitate product delivery and installation; manage and finalize punch lists.
- Serve as an escalation point to resolve and mitigate issues.
- Track project revisions, manage scope/cost changes, and document project closeout.
- Develop AutoCAD existing furniture and concept drawings.
- Create project briefings and presentations for senior management.
- Maintain project files, invoices, and vendor information.
- Investigate and resolve facility construction/renovation issues.
- Capture action items and meeting minutes.
- Clearance:
Active Top Secret (TS) with eligibility for SCI access and Polygraph. - Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
- Education:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree/certification in Project Management, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. - Experience:
5-8 years in furniture procurement, facilities management, or workplace strategy. - Leadership:
Demonstrated experience supervising staff and consultants. - Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of commercial furniture, ergonomics, space planning, BIFMA, ANSI, LEED standards, and GSA/FAR regulations. - Software
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project (or equivalent), and Microsoft Office. Experience with IWMS software is desired. - AI Proficiency:
Understanding of generative AI and machine learning tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to improve efficiency.
