Project Manager – GMS&T

The Project Manager works closely with the GMS&T Leader to execute strategy and plans for drug development across all modalities, disease areas, and stages of development.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple commercial LCM program assignments and drive integration of program strategy.
  • Develop detailed project plans aligned with overall strategy and track all milestones with cross‑functional teams.
  • Facilitate scenario planning for changing business and clinic needs, gathering and communicating stakeholder input.
  • Handle meeting logistics, including creation of clear, concise minutes.
  • Partner with the GM&ST Leader to manage and communicate program risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Use portfolio and program management tools (e.g., MS Project Server, ePlan, PSI CMC database, One Pager Pro, DOI Tool, Right First Time Scorecard, Operational Risk Management) to track execution, milestones, and risks.
  • Coordinate allocation of DS and API materials for non‑clinical use.
Top Skills
  • Experience in the Biotech/Cell Therapy industry (preferred).
  • PMP certification (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Smartsheets, Tableau, and MS Projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant scientific discipline with at least 5 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 2–6 years of experience.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter who works well in teams and independently.
  • Strong project management, business process management, and optimization skills.
  • Understanding of end‑to‑end CMC drug development with knowledge of critical milestones and common bottlenecks.
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish results and meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience building relationships, influencing, negotiating, and driving organizational engagement.
  • Experience developing and/or managing program management tools to forecast budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • PMP certification (preferred).
