Roleand Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development:
Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and consumer satisfaction. - Amazon Partnership Management:
Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with Amazon stakeholders to ensure alignment on business goals, initiatives, and opportunities. - Team Leadership:
Manage a team of 2–3 direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing work environment. - Paid Media:
Oversee and optimize paid media campaigns on Amazon to maximize ROI and drive product visibility and sales. - Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate the success of sales initiatives and make data‑driven decisions. - Urgency and Execution:
Operate with a high sense of urgency to meet or exceed sales targets, resolve issues promptly, and capitalize on emerging opportunities. - Inventory Management and Forecasting:
Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and improve forecast accuracy. - Customer Experience Enhancement:
Implement initiatives to improve the end‑to‑end customer experience on Amazon, including product page optimization, review management, and customer service improvements. - Stakeholder Reporting:
Prepare and present detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and campaign results to senior stakeholders.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 12 years of sales, marketing, or e‑commerce experience with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share gains in consumer goods. - Amazon Expertise:
Experience leading Amazon sales teams, and knowledge of Amazon marketplace, policies, and best practices. - Leadership
Skills:
Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing direct reports. - Relationship Building:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Analytical
Skills:
Proficiency in analyzing market trends, sales data, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. Advanced Excel skills highly preferred. - Strategic Thinking:
Ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with business objectives and drive measurable results. - Effective Communication:
Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. - Urgency and Adaptability:
Ability to operate with a high sense of urgency, adapt to changing market conditions, and prioritize tasks effectively. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Experience working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to achieve business goals. - Travel:
Approximately 15% travel.
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $182,500 and $225,500. Benefits for regular full‑time employees include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), employee purchase program, tuition assistance (after 12 months), paid time off, student loan program (after 6 months), wellness incentives, and many more. Employees are also eligible for MBO bonus compensation based on company, division, and individual performance.
