Senior Professional Services Manager (SPSM) – CDW
The Senior Professional Services Manager is accountable for the overall success of services engagements within assigned segments and regions. This role involves collaborating with sales professionals, integrated technology teams, and end‑user clients to understand business objectives, lead service delivery teams, and ensure services are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within CDW and clients.
- Understand client business objectives, challenges, and expectations to align services accordingly.
- Assist in leading the end‑to‑end cycle of professional services engagements, including consultation, design, implementation, integration, management, and support.
- Define project scopes, set timelines, and ensure efficient execution.
- Align multi‑practice services engagement and resource allocation.
- Mentor a team of sales professionals, pre‑sales services consultants, and project managers.
- Collaborate with clients and pre‑sales to design tailored service solutions.
- Ensure service offerings are documented, standardized, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure engagement success and client satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates on project status, performance metrics, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor account‑based revenue (AOR) services financials and drive continuous improvement metrics.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery, managing escalations as needed.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Travel up to 25% as required.
- Minimum 7 years of consultative professional services sales and delivery experience with a proven track record of managing large‑scale projects and client engagements, or 11 years of experience in the same domain.
- Experience in consulting, consultative sales, or project management with large enterprise cross‑brand projects.
- Hands‑on experience with one or more IT domains.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships and lead business and strategy discussions with clients.
- Ability to engage in difficult conversations with pre‑sales, project teams, and clients, including executive conversations.
- Develop long‑range project plans and schedules for complex projects or new solution/product development.
- Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams and driving performance.
- PMP and sales accreditations preferred; consulting experience with Fortune
500 clients preferred. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities, focusing on client success and business growth.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Annual salary range: $151,350–$277,000, depending on experience and skill set.
- Annual bonus target of 25% subject to plan terms and conditions.
