This role can be located in Bellevue WA or Vancouver BC and is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
What You'll Do
- Ensure program teams and operational activities remain aligned with overall corporate strategy, project timeline, and resource plans.
- Provide input into development of management processes, critical path issues/solutions, resource and project management.
- Foster strong relationships with team members and various department leads, supporting project‑related communications and issue identification and management.
- Maintain program timelines, budgets, and tracking mechanisms, for both internal and external activities.
- Track, monitor, and communicate contractual obligations, deliverables and milestones.
- Proactively identify issues and lead the resolution of conflicts while working collaboratively; where required elevate matters to appropriate leadership; ensure internal alignment prior to joint decisions.
- Work collaboratively with CMC/Clinical/Research departments to execute against development plans.
- Collaborate closely with CMC team members, to execute the external manufacturing strategies.
- Track timelines and activities for development projects in order to achieve key deliverables and progress toward milestones and regulatory filings in alignment with company goals.
- Works closely and effectively with cross‑functional development team members, consultants and vendors.
- Develop, manage, and maintain both high level and detailed timelines of the development plan and ensures that the functional resources and forecasts are aligned with project and program timelines.
- Analyze and manage the critical path, evaluate potential means to accelerate the pace or mitigate identified risks, and plan contingencies with input from various functions
- Ensures regular and proactive communication amongst team members by monitoring, tracking and reporting project status to key stakeholders, including senior management.
- Assess and mitigate project risks and creates contingency plans in collaboration with project teams.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s in biomedical sciences or other discipline related to life sciences and/or drug discovery.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ related experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with relevant experience.
- Direct experience working in a biopharmaceutical technical operations discipline with a working knowledge of biologics drug development.
- Ability to work as part of a high performing team and collaborate effectively with staff.
- Must have well‑developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish highly functional relationships with diverse personalities both within and outside the company.
- Able to develop solutions to complex problems by employing ingenuity, creativity and innovation.
- Domestic and international travel (~10%) as needed.
- Experience working with and managing cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and relationship management skills.
