Amazon is looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Program Manager to join the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Safety Learning and Development (SLeD) team. This role offers the opportunity to revolutionize safety training delivery worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Accountable for the overall program strategy and planning for regions/business units, communicating program requirements, negotiating priorities, and defining success metrics.
- Apply project‑management best practices to drive plan execution, mitigate risks, and improve effectiveness to deliver results in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve program components and mechanisms to drive results and provide program status communication, delivering clear and concise summaries to leadership teams and answering questions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating and managing strategic, cross‑functional, and business‑critical training programs and projects.
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations to promote training program adoption.
- Effectively communicate and manage multiple, competing priorities while coordinating work across teams.
- Define, track, and monitor progress against success metrics and project plans; analyze and report on overall project health using key performance indicators and success metrics.
As a Sr. Program Manager, you will manage safety training content development and localization, driving program implementation, impact, and retention metrics by collaborating with BU stakeholders worldwide. You will partner closely with WHS and Operations departments across Amazon to develop and execute pilot and launch plans, drive internal communications, and oversee continuous improvement of the programs in your regions.

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, science, engineering, or an equivalent field required
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or a related field
