Line Maintenance Analyst at Swire Coca-Cola.

Schedule:

6:00 am - 2:30 pm Mon thru Fri

Pay: $38.89 to $48.04, plus bonus structure.

Role Summary

Part of a high performing team engaged in World Class Manufacturing performance, ensuring people’s safety first, and building a line culture of continuous improvement focused on zero operational defects and losses. The incumbent works closely with the line controls specialist to ensure processes, capabilities and routines support production by developing autonomous and preventive maintenance capability, focusing on the mechanical systems of a manufacturing line.

The candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, install and recommend mechanical/process changes to improve safety, quality, production, delivery, cost and morale.

Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in line Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and execution of the daily plan, reporting results of the previous 24 hours (breakdowns, resolved/unresolved defects, project management).
  • Serve as a coach and resource for the line team; participate in execution of the maintenance plans; develop manufacturing technicians’ capability of inspecting equipment for defects and correcting them.
  • Support development and lead portions of 90‑day loss elimination plans and the annual maintenance plan.
  • Partner with line controls specialist in leading the breakdown elimination (BDE) daily management system (DMS) and drive breakthrough results in line stops and planned/unplanned downtime, focusing on mechanical systems.
  • Partner with line controls specialist in leading the Maintenance, Planning and Scheduling System – planning maintenance periods to resolve defects identified through equipment inspections, scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) work orders, and annual maintenance plan tasks/rebuilds, focusing on mechanical systems.
  • Ensure the revision and updating of maintenance system technical documentation; develop work instructions to ensure maintenance tasks are completed using best‑practice, cost‑effective standardized methods.
  • Support the line team in troubleshooting breakdowns and process failures; ensure machine performance meets safety, quality and production requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or industrial maintenance preferred, or technical certifications/experience in engineering or industrial maintenance preferred.
  • 2‑4 years working with maintenance systems in industrial manufacturing with a Bachelor’s degree required; 4‑6 years working with maintenance systems in industrial manufacturing with a High School diploma or GED required.
  • Expert in maintenance of high speed manufacturing processes (fasteners, bearings, belt/chain drives, gear boxes, motors, couplings, conveyors, etc.).
  • Expert in industrial maintenance systems, including CMMS.
  • Ability to plan work and execute plans for improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and lead a team of manufacturing technicians.
  • Ability to interact and work with other departments.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed to support a 24/7 operation.
